Prize Draw – Terms and Conditions
11th November 2014
1. This promotion is only open to individuals requesting a quote for a valid translation project from Foreign Tongues Ltd. who are UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Foreign Tongues or its subsidiary, group, associated companies, or their agents, families and anyone professionally associated with this promotion.
2. To Enter : simply request a quote for a valid project between 17th November 2014 and 19th of December 2014. Within this time, there will be 5 periods (“Periods”) as set out as follows:

1 00.01 on 17th November – 23.59 on 21st November 2014
2 00.01 on 22nd November – 23.59 on 28th November 2014
3 00.01 on 29th November – 23.59 on 5th December 2014
4 00.01 on 6th December – 23.59 on 14th December 2014
5 00.01 on 15th December – 23.59 on 19th December 2014
3. The Prizes : Five winners (one for each Period) will win 1 x bottle of spirit, which will be announced each week on the Promoter’s website (https://www.foreigntongues.co.uk/) and the Promoter’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Foreign-Tongues-The-Market-Research-Translation-Agency/136943426332958?fref=ts), worth approximately £30 each.
4. No purchase necessary required to enter.
5. Prizes are as stated and there is no alternative or cash prize offered. Delivery to a UK mainland address is included in the prize. Should the selected prize be unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute with a prize of equivalent or greater value and quality.
6. Please allow 28 days from prize acceptance for delivery of the prize. Please note, during the Christmas period, delivery times may vary.
7. Winner Selection : For your total confidence, all valid entries received during each Period will be entered into the random prize draw within 3 working days of each Period conducted by PromoVeritas, the independent promotional verification service.
8. Winner Notification : The winners will be notified via email using the email address provided at time of entry within 3 working days of the draw taking place and the winner must respond to such notification within 14 days or risk disqualification and the award of the prize to an alternate entrant selected in the same manner.
9. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any lost, late or misdirected entries of any network, computer hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry or any electronic communication by you or Foreign Tongues.
10. If any act, omission, event or circumstances occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations and the Promoter reserves the right (to the fullest extent permitted by any applicable law) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the prize draw or alternatively substitute the prize for a prize of equivalent or greater monetary value.
11. Except in the case of damage arising from its negligence, or in respect of fraud, and so far as is permitted by law; the Promoter and its associated companies, officers, employees and agents exclude responsibility and all liabilities for any loss, damage or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss) arising in connection with this prize draw, the promotion of this prize draw, from the use of the prize or from any postponement, cancellation, delay or changes to the prize.
12. Winners agree to take part in reasonable publicity relating to their win.
13. For name and country of the winner send a stamped addressed envelope to Foreign Tongues at the address below within 2 months of the Promotion Period.
14. This promotion is governed by the laws of England and Wales and you and Foreign Tongues hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
